The Greek Embassy in Lebanon celebrated the 28th of October in a special and symbolic way. The Ambassador, Ms. Catherine Fountoulaki, in collaboration with the Defense Attaché, Mr. Konstantinos Antonatos, paid a tribute to the 21 Greek fallen of the Second World War in Lebanon at the Commonwealth War Cemetery of Beirut.
The Ambassador along with the Greek Consul, Ms. Athanasia Iliaki, the President of the Greek Community, Mr. Panayotis Andriotis, and Father Romanos who performed the trisagio, honoured the martyr soldiers with white roses.
