The Greek Community of Beirut hosted its annual Senior Lunch on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Abd El Wahab restaurant, bringing together members in a warm and festive atmosphere.
The event was honored by the presence of H.E. the Greek Ambassador, Ms. Despina Koukoulopoulou, alongside Consul Mr. Ignatios Papadimitriou, Commercial Attachée Ms. Alia Papanastasiou, and Attaché Mr. Konstantinos Kostagiannis. Also in attendance were members of the community’s board, reaffirming their commitment to supporting and celebrating the elders of the Greek diaspora.
During the gathering, Ambassador Koukoulopoulou had the opportunity to engage with members of the Greek community in Lebanon, fostering connections in an atmosphere of camaraderie and tradition.
The event highlighted the community’s deep-rooted heritage and its ongoing commitment to preserving cultural ties across generations.
