A memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed between Blue Stars Sports Club and the Greek Community of Beirut on March 8, 2023.
One of the goals of this MOU is to grant the children, youth, and sports enthusiasts of the Greek Community, the opportunity to participate in the club’s activities and initiatives, to be trained by certified coaches in various sports, and consequently be able to partake in national and international sports competitions.
Given that the Greek Community of Beirut organizes various activities (cultural, philanthropic, educational, and so on) and participates in many events to promote and strengthen the ties between the Greeks living in Lebanon and the Lebanese people, this MOU is the perfect recourse.
As a first feat, the Greek Community of Beirut is joining hands with an affiliated organization of the Blue Stars, through the Run to Rise initiative, under Qarari NGO, a duly registered Lebanese non-governmental non-profit organization, independent of all political and religious affiliations.
