The Greek Community of Beirut was honored to welcome Their Eminences Metropolitan Elias Audi of Beirut and Dependencies and Metropolitan Silouan Moussi of Mount Lebanon and Dependencies, along with Her Excellency Mrs. Despina Koukoulopoulou, Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic to Lebanon, and Her Excellency Mrs. Maria Hadjitheodosiou, Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to Lebanon, as well as clergy, members, and friends, for the traditional cutting of the Vasilopita, celebrated in honor of Saint Basil.
This meaningful gathering brought us together to honor our customs and traditions, share warm wishes, and begin the year 2026 with hope, unity, and goodwill.
